- Hi there. I got a new piece of sample editing software,
- basic features almost complete - will be available during the summer
- (beta version), but I still feel that there might be more things
- that I could add.
- What I wanted to ask from you guys is:
- What kind of editing features you'd like to see in it?
- What kind of effects? Which effects do you think need improvement over
- current packacges?
- What kind of sampling features? (ie direct MD link through SCSI?)
- What file format support?
- What sort of helper programs (such as autolooping, autotuning, sample
- filtering)
- would make your life easier?
- Any other special features that you might think of??
-
- BTW, I had some problems with direct CPU output to the sound chip,
- though DMA sound seemed to work OK.
- I enable audio interrupts, disable audio DMA, activate channel 0,
- set volume to 64,send data to the LSBs of the first 2 words of AUD0DAT
- then wait for the interrupt and clear it and send new data etc
- The result is a click.
- What am I doing wrong?
